Request for custom fields

This is a feature request for custom fields in Uncat. I'd like to be able to create custom fields in Uncat, just like you can in any form, where I could set up multiple choice drop downs or other fields that would allow clients to provide me with exactly the information I need to process their transactions. These custom fields wouldn't pull anything from a connected platform such as QuickBooks or Xero. Instead they would just be set up in Uncat itself and could be selected as the fields that clients see when interacting with their transactions in Uncat.

Here's why I think this would take Uncat to the next level: My biggest concern about Uncat is, depending on how you set things up, you are essentially asking clients to do the basic bookkeeping work for you. I think this is a big downside since clients don't generally do a good job at this. If we could set up drop down lists or separate custom labelled fields of various types for clients to interact with we wouldn't have to be trying to co-opt things like customer lists or classes in QuickBooks to present a coherent set of choices for clients. For my work with nonprofits, where we have multiple categorizations layers for accounts, programs, projects and grants, being able to create separate tailored drop down selection lists would solve so many of the issues that arise when trying to ask clients to select from only a portion of the items in lengthy lists that are pulled directly from Quickbooks. Additionally, being able to label a field myself could solve so much confusion for my clients who are easily thrown off when trying to select grantor projects from a field called "customers" (QuickBooks) or programs from a field called "classes" (also QuickBooks). If I could get Uncat to present ONLY custom fields of my own design to clients for their transaction feedback that would be the feature I would use above everything else.

I am the sort of Uncat customer that prefers to have my client tell me WHAT they purchased in a particular transaction so I can choose the account to code the transaction to myself, rather than asking my client to choose an account from the chart of accounts and screw it up. My request here is in keeping with that approach, which I generally think all bookkeepers should pursue. Thank you for your consideration.
